My dad was doing his part for the United Way this year. One of his volunteer duties was to go around to some of the businesses to pick up donations for the United Way compaign. Well on Friday he was in one of the offices when a pit bull attacked him. No lie. What the hell was a pit bull doing in someone's office you might say?? Who knows. But he knocked Dad down, chewed his arm up real good and was biting at his leg. Thank goodness he's so "solid" or he might have gotten hurt worse. How scary. But to lighten the story up a bit, Todd had a good joke.

When John was asked how his United Way volunteering was going, he said "Well I gave an arm and a leg". Ba-da-boom.

The Red Cross called John for a blood donation. He said, "No, thanks, I gave at the office!"

John doesn't have rabies but he does have a bad case of Dog Jaw.
I know a lot of people dont like the United Way-but an attack dog to greet the volunteer is a bit extreme way tpo say NO.....
When asked about how collections for the United Way are going, John's reply was....
"Well,frankly, they're going to the dogs"
so sorry to hear the news John, hope you are ok, what a way to get workmens compensation but knowing you I bet you did not even miss a day of work
First I heard of this. I sure hope John is okay. But now he can get a peg leg and fulfill his childhood dream of being a pirate---Aaarrrr!
I can't believe they had a dog like that in their office. What's the dog's name, Killer?
He was lucky to get out of that office with his digits intact.
