This Is What I Have To Live With

We bought our Christmas tree tonight.
We decided to wait until tomorrow to decorate it.
I'm really nervous about having lights and ornaments on our tree this year.
I have no idea why.
And to think we thought he was so sweet and innocent.

My cat when I was little, Duchess, climbed into our tree and kept knocking the tree over one year. My dad literally had to wire it to the wall. Hope Grayson doesn't keep this new habit up!

What a great idea to decorate your tree with a cat. :)

Gizmo climbs our tree near the center and never seems to knock things off...well not that often anyway. I think Grayson looks adorable, and I bet the boys are getting a big laugh out of his tree climbing adventures.

Good Luck.

Oh that sassy kitty!

When I first heard "Oh Holy Night" come up on your playlist I thought "oh how pretty!", and then I started laughing my butt off. That is hilarious!

I have a feeling that this is only the first of MANY installments on this story...

Oh, how funny! We have two cats and they have been playing around under the tree - no mishaps yet, but I am holding my breath.

Have a good week - Kellan

Grayson looks like he was having a ball.

We put our tree up Sunday afternoon and decorated it. Monday mornings I help in Riley's class...I was getting ready to leave and I heard Lou meowing. Couldn't find him though...he was in the tree about 2 feet up, very close to the center BUT was being strangled by garland. He couldn't get out by himself. I literally had to remove the garland from around his neck and pull him out.

NO decorations were harmed. Wish I would've thought to take a picture though.

AND BTW our tree is artificial!

I have pictures just like this this year! Ahhhh - those rotten yet adorable cats! Nibbles has calmed down a bit but still naps under the tree and has her favorite things to knock off our tree. She completely knocked EVERYTHING off of Ethan's tree! Good luck is all I can say.....

HAHAHAHA!!! I LOVE IT! I was cracking up! I'll have to show hubby this one. We have three cats, and knock on wood, they have always been so good with the tree. BUT this year, I have two-year-old to deal with. Why did I think last year (at one) was the year I'd have to worry about? He didn't even look twice at the trees last year, now he can't leave them alone!!
