We've been busy decorating for Christmas. Todd did the outside on the weekend and we got brave and tackled the tree last night. We ended up putting the cat in the basement because he was taking the ornaments off as fast as we were putting them on. But he's been really good with it since. I think the twinkling lights are what's keeping him off of it. Whatever works I guess. He won't leave Drew's little tree alone though. Luckily it's in his bedroom so he can just keep his door shut.
Just a few decorating pictures. The kids were in their PJ's, we had Christmas music playing, and we had fun going through all of the ornaments.
If you look closely enough, you can see Noah's red Crystal Light mustache. He's just getting into the season.
Don't you love the camou robe and Santa hat?? Drew wasn't too happy that I snuck in and took the picture.

I went through a minor Dreamsicle addiction once upon a time and even collected the nativity set. Todd built the 'stable'.
The boys were so excited to get the inflatable snow globe this year that has Santa and the reindeer flying around and around the earth. The wooden elf and Santa/reindeer were built by Todd and Drew some years ago.

Everything looks great! Glad Grayson is keeping off the tree so far. I love the Aiden ornaments...did you move them or leave them like that? Matt gets so mad if I move ornaments around. Just wondering if I'm the only obsessive one:)
We're doing our tree tonight hopefully. It's in and up, just not decorated. The kids and I did get out a lot of the other decorations yesterday so that put me in the mood.
It looks like so much fun! I can't wait to get our tree and decorate! The outside looks great too!
Hey you, maybe take a pic of your garland and show me? Yes, lights always help, always!! But you don't have to have them. Do you have a dining room hutch you can hang it on, or a stair railing? I bet it doesn't look that bad. Try stuffing more little things in there. Do you have extra ornaments or something?
so precious! I love how regardless of what happens- or how it happened....THESE are the memories that our kids will take with them.

I think every little one always decorates one area...I have pictures of each of you doing just that! and then you slowly spread them out when no one if looking! Cant wait to decorate our tree....when we find one!
