Bad Dreams

I have always wondered if babies and toddlers had dreams and what they may dream about. Toddlers DO have bad dreams from time to time, but I'm happy to say, their "bad" dreams aren't always on the same level as our bad dreams.

Example:
I woke early this morning to the sound of Aiden crying and sounding very upset. I run in to calm him down. This is how it went.
Me: What's wrong honey??
Aiden: Noah stole my toothbrush.
Me: It was just a bad dream. Lay back down.
Aiden: Noah stole my toothbrush (very distraught)
Me: Shhhh, go back to sleep sweetie.

I let the hair junkie grab a fistful of my hair with one hand and his Barney with the other and he drifted back to dreamland. I knew Noah would find this hilarious when he woke up. When the boys woke later, I was telling them about this "bad" dream of Aiden's. They were cracking up. Drew pats Aiden's tummy and tells him he'll get him a new toothbrush. Aiden says "Yeah, at the library" and starts laughing. "That be funny" he says. My little comedian.

Hey, as long as that is his version of a bad dream...no problem. When Delaney started getting into the moster thing...holy yikes~was not fun!
I had a bad dream last night that cookie dough had fat and calories...whew, glad I woke up from that one...

Too cute. Aiden sure does love to entertain & make people laugh. The true Bozarth in him, huh?

I love hearing what little kids dream about. I found out the other day that Blake thought he actually left his bedroom at night when he dreamed. He told me about a bad dream he'd had (the one with the beetles on his toes) & then said,"But it's ok. I came back to my room." I asked him what he meant & that's when he told me his theory. He seemed to be relieved when I explained what really happened. No wonder he gets so worked up over his scary dreams!

Poor Aiden, it must have really bothered him....OR it was all a ploy to get ahold of his mama's hair again :-)

Dianna...You crack me up. I'm beginning to wonder if you are a real Bozarth. Nah, you're way funnier than most of them.
