More Colorado Favorites (Part II)

The best part of going to Colorado is by far the time we spend in Rocky Mountain National Park. The views are breathtaking, the smell of pine and clean air is invigorating, and the cooler temps and no humidity sure beat the heat at home. But after long days, we have to let loose and get a little crazy.

The hotel in Kearney Nebraska after day 1 of driving is the perfect way to let loose after 8 hours in the car....they have two water slides and an indoor play area for the smaller kids. My boys were in heaven. Aiden was going down by himself, swimming to the side and would shout, "this is awesome!"
Noah zooming down.

Everyone took turns getting their picture taken with the funny glasses.

When we cooked out up in the mountains, the kids had time to run around and play, wade in the water, look for chipmunks, etc.

The slide, oh the slide, I guarantee you will feel like a kid again once you coast down this! We went over and over again. The family would line up across at the top and all slide down together.
My hair just cracks me up in this picture.

The bungy trampoline was new this year. My boys were anxious to get on it. Drew was even doing flips up in the air.
They would pull you down and let go and you would shoot up in the air like you were on a slingshot. (Noah)

Noah, Aiden, and Blake patiently waiting their turns.

Aiden may be only 4 but he is fearless. He had every bit as much fun as his brothers did.

My Dad watching the fun with 3 of his 6 grandkids.

The Go-Karts. They have to love seeing our family coming. You don't even want to know how much we spend on this and the other activities. But that's what vacation money is for right??

Aiden rode with his big cousin Sarah. Noah rode with Olivia

Drew was excited because this year he was big enough to drive by himself. He did really good too and at the end of the night, he managed to pass everyone on the track! He was pretty proud. Me, I'm just nervous about him driving in 5 years!

More Colorado pictures tomorrow, hope you aren't sick of them yet. I'm planning on doing some of the scenic ones next.

For the first batch of favorites, see my post below.

That slide looks like SO much fun. I'm really really jealous.

Anyway, I wrote back to you in my comments section about the Google Reader trick. Let me know if it helps!
