We're Here!

We made it to Florida yesterday at about 2:30 in the afternoon. The boys did sooo well on the drive down. I was so proud of how well they behaved...it made the trip go that much faster. The kids hit it off and have been having a blast. We hung out last night, ate supper and let the kids play. Today Dianna, Drew and I hit Target and Michaels and came home for lunch. After the little kiddos naps, we are hitting the beach. I'm so excited to take the boys there. Their idea of a beach is a dirty sandbar on the Mississippi River. Just wait till they see beautiful white sand, salt water, sea shells, pelicans, jellyfish, etc. I hope to get some really good pictures of everybody. I've also become Mallory's new best friend. How can you not fall in love with her and her beautiful curls?? I can't wait to post all of my pictures on the way home. More later.

How could you NOT love the pensacola beaches...even I who dislikes water, could stay on them all day! Your boys will have a ball. Wish I could be there to share it all...and see all the Thompsons. Felling a little homesick for them and all the fun the Hazelwood crowd had back in the days....

Glad you made it with your sanity intact...Have a great time at the beach....it truly was beautiful beyond words when I saw it, but I am sure the beauty will take a backseat to fun for your boys. Give Dianna a hug for me.

Note to self...

plan at least 5 days off after any "vacation" so you can recover...

sounds like you had a great time...

New to your blog - but I can't tell you how relieved I am to know that all three of your boys enjoy dressing up! I have an almost 2 yr old who obsesses about shoes - the girly kind, as well as girly hats and even ballerina dresses! Phew...thanks for making my son look "normal" too.
