"Mommy, I happy"

I've heard this a lot from Aiden the past couple of days. It warms my heart to hear this. Sometimes he says it while we're cuddling on the couch reading, he's told me it while we were at the mall yesterday. He's also said it while we were sitting side by side in the kitchen eating our lunch. Each time, we're doing something so simple, yet so enjoyable. And it warms my heart each time he says it. It's just a reminder that it's the simple pleasures that make us the happiest and we need to stop and savor those little moments before they pass us by. He'll usually follow his statement by asking me, "Mommy, you happy??" "Yes, Aiden, mommy is VERY happy."

Too precious...if they were only so sweet all the time! Enjoy it when you can!

What a little angel....a true gift from God. Can YOU imagine having that sort of impact on someone's heart with just a few simple words?
