An Anniversary & A Birthday Rolled Into One

September 23rd and September 24th are busy days in our house. This year was no exception. The 23rd is Todd and I's anniversary. This year we celebrated the big 16. It's also the day before Aiden's birthday. He got to bring birthday treats to school (chocolate cake balls that he helped his daddy make), got sung Happy Birthday to in front of the school, and got to bring our kitty Chloe in for show and tell. That evening Todd and I got to go out for a nice supper at One (an awesome new restaurant), finished up a little birthday shopping and rented Bridesmaids to watch after the boys went to bed. It was the perfect day. This morning on the 24th a certain little someone was up early ready to start celebrating his birthday. Todd surprised him with with doughnuts for breakfast and his brothers gave him their birthday gift--a frog Webkinz. Now they could all play Webkinz together on the computer. Then we headed off to Aiden's early morning soccer game. Uncle Scott gave him his birthday gift afterwards so he was so excited to come home and play (Ninjago Legos). We played until lunchtime and then Aiden got to pick where we ate for lunch. Burger King was the birthday boys' choice. So exciting huh?? When we got home, we gave him the rest of his gifts and have been playing since. The rest of the day is wide open......what else will the birthday boy want to do? Are you on the edge of your seats?

Next weekend is his joint birthday party with Noah, Ty, and Christopher. Yes, September is always a busy month!

An unrelated piece of excitement from today.....Drew lost his last baby tooth. Why does this make me a little sad? He was so nonchalant about it. He forgot to even tell us until about an hour after when we were driving to lunch. I guess I should be thankful those last 2 teeth came out on their own, saves me having to pay to have them pulled. It's the little things. :)

It sure sounded like 2 VERY full, but wonderful days. You all have so many blessings, and having 2 big events so close is fun. This last 10 days of September is full on every square on my calendar and I love each name on each day. Tell Aiden Grandma will be deliverying our gift to his party on Sunday.
